PRESENT: Commissioners Bernard Smith, Michele Hassler and William McCarthy, Charles Zuccala, Acting Cemetery Supervisor and Kevin Duffy, Line and Stone
The meeting started at 9:05am
Four (4) deeds were signed as well as the Bogosian buyback
Minutes approved from the May meeting.
Michele will be Kevin Duffy’s contact for work being done in the Cemetery. He will likely start next phase of cleaning stones in 2 weeks. Kevin presented a model of the Scribner stone that he will do for UG CC-195. Headstone was approved and he left the meeting at 9:50am.
Change Rules and Regulations to say Section A-Z and Section AA-HH
The test holes that were dug in the HH field were evaluated. There was not a lot of water in the holes but there really wasn’t a lot of rain. We will not use the HH field until really needed.
Approval was given to Cynthia LaRue to use family graves N-246 and N-247. Ask if she is interested in selling back N-247. Disinterment of 3 from Holy Cross for DeVito FH was discussed. Not possible to do 3 at the same time.
Let Funeral Directors know if the Cemetery will not have enough staff to do funerals and if need be arrange for a mock funeral.
