Present: Commissioners Bernie Smith, Michele Hassler and William McCarthy, and Acting Cemetery Supervisor, Jason Jones
The meeting began at 9:17 a.m.
1. 5 Deeds were signed.
2. Minutes were approved from May meeting.
3. No response from the Town Manager regarding the yearly treatment of broadleaf and grub control. Bill McCarthy will follow-up with the Tow Manager and Teresa DeBenedictis
4. Disinterment of John J. Collins was declined due to the years since burial. Smith disinterment of cremains was approved and family may start process with funeral home. Disinterment will continue on case by case basis.
5. Talk to Board of Health about lowering grave policy and procedure for Dhimos family.
6. Bill McCarthy will attend the meeting with Boston Advisors.
7. Cemetery Supervisor job was posted and the Commission would like to be included in the selection process.
8. Waterfield was selected for the Cooke’s Hollow project.
9. Michele will email Town Counsel regarding Hawkins stone in OBG.
10. New fees established for mock funerals, $200.00 and $400.00. Bush removal will be $75.00 per plot.
