Located at 422 Summer Street in Arlington, the Veteran's Memorial Skating Rink offers a regulation size rink, complete snack bar service and vending machines.
The facility is open September 30th to March 23rd for Public Skating.
The facility is the home of Arlington Hockey and Figure Skating Association, Arlington High School, and Arlington Catholic High School, as well as various youth groups from the surrounding area.
Arlington Sport Center/Veteran’s Memorial Rink To Open Monday, September 24th
The Arlington Recreation Department is pleased to announce that the ice rink will be open for its first skate of the season on Monday, September 24th. The new chiller unit has been installed and the ice is currently being prepared for the season. Arlington Recreation would like to thank the entire Arlington Community for their understanding and patience during this renovation process. We are pleased to open the rink a full week earlier than we anticipated thanks to the hard work of the recreation and rink staff, lead by Facilities Supervisor, Dave Cunningham. The first public skating hours of the season are scheduled for Sunday, September 30th. As a special thank you to the community, there will be no charge for admission for both the 9:30 AM and 2 PM public skating times on September
